Well I am in Indianapolis for a while now. For those of you who I haven't told, my grandfather passed away at about 6:30 on Tuesday. He apparently was quite peaceful when it happened, he had been sick for some time, so I suppose it is the best anyone could have hoped for. The cause has been stated as a form of cardiac blockage. This is really my first actual encounter with human mortality. I have known a total of about 3 people prior to this that have passed away. Two were distant relatives that I am not even sure if I had ever met them both. The other was a past friend of mine who I hadn't spoken with for years upon years. I believe I am in the state of denial, or it just hasn't quite become completely clear in my mind that he is really gone forever. I keep thinking that he is just in another room. I am thinkiing that any minute now he will walk through the door and everything will be how it used to be. Everyone seems to be handling it pretty well. I am not sure if I will post again before I get back or not. There is a rememberance ceremony on Friday, and I will probably be headed homeways soon after. I will be off for the entire week thereafter because I will be asking off for Friday and Saturday because of this, so they just won't schedule me at all. I will either be taking shifts, or be very open for activities. Leave a comment or email me with suggestions of stuff you'd enjoy doing with me. That short period of time will be my only chance for like two weeks because I am then going to Deleware with family and obviously won't be able to see anyone. I'd like to get to see people before I leave for Deleware so let me know what any of you want to do and when. If not, I'll be back again in like three weeks. I'm willing to do things in groups of people incase two people want to do the same thing on the same day, although that's unlikely. Hope to see you soon.
