Josh and I played GoldenEye for N64 tonight. It was the highlight of my evening. We played 5 games, coming out about even. The final total was 79 - 0 in Josh's favor. Now, that isn't because I didn't get any kills in, I got two of them, it's just that I accidently killed myself twice also. The awards I won are as follows:Mostly Harmless X 3 Most Cowardly X 3 Shortest Innings X 2 Most Honorable Now, all of those aren't that bad, I was honorable. In the second game, we used Automatic Weapons, and it took me until he had killed me 20 times before I was able to lower him below his body armor. I still like to think I got a few good shots in, though. He just got lucky....alot. Josh's awards were:Most Professional Most Deadly Longest Innings Markmanship Award ... all pity awards if you ask me. It's cute how the machine feels bad for him, too. He did have an unfair advantage though, since he has played it alot more than me, since he owns it and used to play it non-stop for weeks at a time, and I never owned it. Oh well, he knows I let him win. The only funny thing that happened at work that was customer stupidity was a man walking up to a new girl named Anna. He was a thuggish looking large black man. Of course, he considers himself tough and cool, so he talks in the unusual pronunciations of words. Anyway, he orders a popcorn and Anna asks him what size he wants, to which he responds "yeah". Needless to say, that is not the correct answer. To add to the humor, he does not actually say "yeah", instead he says "yee uh" in the deepest of ghetto accents. Anna, assuming he heard her wrong, repeats the question, louder this time. He responds, yet again, "yee-uh". After the third time, the man's girlfriend or sister or wife or daugher or something realizes his mistake and begins to call him slang terms that I have never heard before. He changes his answer and I walk away laughing. All in all, work was pretty fun that night. I apologize for the lack of odd links on this post, there wasn't anything I could link to. Maybe I will add some later.
i remain,
