We played the first time and I wasn't really sure how to play so I kinda cornered myself by my placement of my pieces. He won the first game, but in the process, he allowed me to learn the strategy he uses. Of course, we played again, and I learn quickly. Playing video games for 14 years has made me good at becoming suddenly good at something I didn't quite understand a few minutes before. With this new found ability in the game, I proceeded to hand my own father his ass in a game that he had played many times more than me, on my second time ever playing. It was a fun game. After the first couple moves, I had removed many of his highest ranking pieces while still maintaining mine. Using some choice sacrifices, I left him utterly defenseless, and he could not mount an offense because I had strategically placed my power pieces making him unable to move. I was quite proud. He may think twice about asking me to play him again. It was fun. You should play it sometime.
