Tim's Search for a Girlfriend: Day 2
It is now Day 2 of my search. Bill (Cati) has decided to play the role of "matchmaker" for me. To this, I sang the song "matchmaker" from Fiddler on the Roof at her, and she laughed at me. She was unable to find someone for me in the entire 6 hours I worked with her this morning so I don't think she's a very good matchmaker. I had one almost conversation with a cute girl that came into see a movie. It was during the second part of my shift (I worked from 1 until 11, with an hour break). She asked for a ticket to Gigli. I said to her that she was the first person to pronounce the name for that correctly to me ("Zhi ' Li" is how you are supposed to say it apparently). She was like "oh really?" and I was like "yeah". That's about all it was so I don't think it counts. I'm beginning to think that my plan isn't working. I'm gonna give it more time before I consider becoming unofficially looking for a girlfriend again, though. Maybe things will pick up on Day 3. By the way, I've added to my saying. I now like to say, "I'm on the prowl .... *growl*" Okay, so I only do that to seem funny, but it's still fun. Most of you won't care or know, but I got to talk to Sherri tonight and that is a wonderful thing.
