Tim's Search for a Girlfriend: Day 4
Day 4 began strangely. I had looked at the schedule wrong for work, and I thought that today was a day off for me. I was wrong. My sister Jenn woke me up at 11:00 telling me that Brandy from work had called and left a message saying that I was supposed to be at work at 10:15. Obviously, I wasn't there. I immediately rose from my slumber and got to work at 11:15. She didn't seem upset about it since I had never been late to a shift with her ever before in my 1 year, 4 months, and 19 days working there. The shift was fun because I was door. Being door on a Monday morning means I get to walk around and do whatever I want to since there is nothing important that needs to be done. Nothing in the form of a possible girlfriend was there so I suppose all of this is unimportant for my review of the day. Following work, I hurried to take a shower and then headed up to the Bauer Haus for the wedding of 5CG own Christopher Griffin. It was a humble wedding, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Following the ceremony, I found that the one and only Markie was on the clock in that very building. His job was to serve drinks so I made sure to keep him company. I was able to see the opening of the gift that Bates and I had gotten for the newlyweds. It was a giant fortune cookie with a personalized message inside in the form of VB code. There was not much choice in the way of my search at the wedding. One of the bridesmaids was quite cute; up until the point when her 260 pound weight-lifting, ESPN 2 athelete, behemoth boyfriend came up next to her, and I became frightened for my life. I decided that the fight over her would be a rather close fight, and I decided not to take that risk. Following the wedding, I headed westward towards Steak & Shake where I met up with Kevin and others. Kevin was back in town for the weekend or so, but he is leaving tomorrow morning to go back to Purdue. Felicia is going with him, which makes me sad. She is my friend, and I don't want to have to go the better part of a week without getting to talk to her. I am hoping day 5 has more in store for me, this search is tiresome, although no different it seems from my original searches.
